Hello All,
I know it’s been several years but I wanted to let you know Bailey is doing great. He is 9 years old (time really flies) and healthy.
And even after the 8 years we’ve had him he continues to make progress with the reactivity. The latest milestone is being able to remain calm when encountering a dog jogging with its person; just in the last six months he’s been able to do that–as long as he’s got enough space.
The last couple of years we have been training in nose work, which he loves. In nose work the dogs learn to identify & locate certain odors (birch, anise & clove) hidden somewhere in an area. It’s a fun activity for us. We take classes regularly and we have competed in some trials; Bailey has a couple of titles.
I’ve attached some recent photos taken on a walk with some friends…

He’s such a great dog, and he’s doing great. He has lots of human friends (and fans; you can hear some of them on the first video.)
We love him and love having him in our family.
We hope you are all doing well.
